Wave the flag...there's a reason racing flags are waved in all racing formats for over a hundred years..AMA idiots

Totally agree. I occasionally flag at our club events and also brief the flag team when not racing or doing other tasks. What we tell everyone is wave the bloody thing and make as visible as possible. 

I've also been balled out over the R/T channel by the club steward if I'm not following my own advice Grinning
