Is it just a KTM?
I'm thinking ktm knock-off, at least allot of it. Great looking bike though.

Not one part KTM. None. Stopped using KTM motors since 2009.

Are they building their own engines now? Who did they "copy"?

Beta has been building their own engines on and off for many years. They make a quality scooter.

They're building their own engines and in fact, were building engines for the little KTM bikes before they started using KTM engines in their first Fullsize Enduro bikes.

That there is the best looking non-Jap bike I have seen to date except for the KTM's. I'd love to take one of those things for a spin.

Yeah, they're pretty good bike for enduro racing. Good handling (but could be better, still), great stability and great engine. And their trials bikes are the absolute best, much more fun (IMO) than GasGas.

I dont agree Rangot - great handling bikes. I've been riding a 450RR for the past year in Enduros. It's pretty much bullet proof too. Best thing is the size - it feels tiny compared to other 450s. Very strong rumour is that they are developing a 250/300 2T for 2013 release.
A Beta in the Irish Landscape. Cool

2012 KTM's feel lighter and tinier than this one. I had the privilege to ride all 450's enduro, and IMO the Beta is not the best,in this area, even if it's still allright. But hey, whatever, like i said it's still a really good bike, with good products on it and i believe you when you say it's bullet proof. Quality machines, i like it.
And indeed, they confirmed us at the press presentation that they're working on a 2 stroke range, and maybe even a small 4 stroke bore.

Even though I'm not that crazy about 450s, the Beta is a sweet bike, regardless. If I was to get a 450 (which they're too expensive) it would be the Beta. Of course, it would be after a 150sx and 250sx.
