Anyone tried the Guts racing lightweight seat foam? How much weight did you save? Does the foam feel close to stock? I tried the Think Technologies seat foam.. amazingly light but way too firm for my butt. Looking for an alternative.

I buy a tall foam from them for every bike I own, so the weight savings were not the motivation, but I get them when I can take them.
going from an OEM Suzuki seat to their tall foam and cover saved more than 0.5lbs, which is cool since the regular taller foams are usually heavier than stock.
I really like it, its nice and firm so its really helps to grip the bike with your knees if you are tall.
great people, great product, great customer service! 5 stars! *****
The Shop
I've been running their Lightweight Seat foam and "VS" Velcro-System exclusively on Everything I ride for a year, now.
The sets feel like a fresh stock seat and I have the "indentations" where peole usually put pleats or bumps. This makes the seat just a little bit lower...which is REALLY, REALLY NICE for me.
The seat in the KTM picture is one of the early light-foam Seats with over 50 hours in it!
The Husky is a seat with 12 days in Baja & Beach Riding on it (Baja Bonanza, Rip to Cabo).
I lost a pound with the Think foam on my CRF450 which was great, but made me feel like I am sitting high on top of the bike in corners and rougher on my old tush.

The Guts foam feels normal and you can get softer or firmer, too.

this is after i trimmed it down at the back part slightly
Stock dry foam; 630 grams
Guts Racing Phantom foam; 240 grams
Think Technology foam: 95 grams
When I weighed the stock foam.. a bike with only 25 hours on it and never seen mud or water except a wash after every ride, was water logged at about 2000 grams!!! One pound = 454 grams. That is an argument for closed cell foam technology right there.

Edit: why does my phone always change Guts to Guys?
