Haha, it's true he did run out of gas!

We have almost the full moto on video, but unfortunately, the record button was hit too early and we missed the fuel-loss DNF by Alessi ... Sad

Currently uploading a more 'full length' version!

Here is a more 'full length' version of Mike Alessi pulling away from the field in the first MX1 moto at Gopher Dunes. Note at the beginning where Mike talks about CDN riders parking IN FRONT of the starting gate ... Alessi says that DC would disqualify him for such tricks.

All the way up in Canada and he is still obsessing about DC- always playing the victim?

They probably stopped showing where he cut the track, so he could save enough fuel to finish Whistling Grinning

If I was Mike I would be curious as to who pooped on the seat (22 secs into second vid). Genova needs to market a hot tub cover for bikes

That track looks like a freeway.... lucky he didn't run out of valves or piston holding that 450 wide on said freeway. Sounds like a 250 the way he's wringing it out and holding it.

On second review of the longer video the track does get rough in a hurry. I'm not a fan of tracks with a mile run up to a fairly short jump with a wall for a takeoff and landing. You gotta get slowed up just right so you don't jump into the next county and even backsided perfect you land in those big holes that form right at the base of the landing. Track would be killer with longer more flowing takeoffs and landings on the jumps.

This is the first look i've ever gotten at a Canadian national. Doesn't seem to be many fans there...

how far is that track from the states? DC should hold a race up there and satisfy the requirement of "international" motocross to his repertoire.
