So, what does a TV/movie guy who loves moto but doesn't ride on the track want to ride dual sport trails all the while paying tribute to his moto legend friends from Honda's 80's glory days...
A little dress up for the 10 year-old on CRF-450X...Baja Designs kit and Arizona registration...street legal trail ripper (or plonker with me on it) New to me now!
Special thanks to "The Icon" David Bailey for inspiration, Seat Concepts for taller, wider seat with retro cover, Throttle Jockey for great looking kit!
Took the opportunity to improve egos with taller seat, and lowered pegs with Fastway kit.
Good compliment to the Yamaha Super Tenere ADV in garage.
Might not be everyone's cup of tea but I'm kinda digging it and it's street legal!
My best riding bud said "Looks full factory except for turn signals and rack on the back. Hahahah!" (he was giving me crap but likes it too.

The Shop
I've been doing a little dual sporting myself lately:
Cool man!
If you squint, you can see Villopoto relaxing on his Corona Del Mar rooftop deck...
Humble champion too. These modern day off road guys should be sending him a small part of their bonus checks for setting the precedent cause he wouldn't have made part of what they do now, and that owe him also for that.
Sorry for the hijack BTW. Your CRFx looks great.

Scott's house burned down didn't it? Anybody know if they were able to get everything rebuilt? Hopefully the family has recovered.
Back on topic. Your X is badass! And that red frame would really set it off. I had my heart set on one, but decided a plate on the husky 300 will do me just fine.
