Seems like yesterday that Harvick was raising the trophy in Florida
Speedweeks has already began in Daytona with Unlimited practice today.
Earnhardt car is cool lookin, The scheme reminds me of Danny Byrd Chevelle back in the 70's.
Weekend of sports...Supercross of course, ARCA Race, Unlimited and Daytona 500 qualifying.. (Did I forget any?)
Here's my pick..
Kyle Larson

I have a bunch of ford go fast stuff from the 60s and early 70s. Clevelands ,bunch of 429s and 460s a 427 put backto build a thunderbolt replica some day. Lots of heads ,CJ stuff . Found a Roush intake at the 94 mustang anniversary in Charlotte ,2 4v's that bolts on a boss 302. You can use 4v Cleveland heads on a small block to make the boss 302.
Ford stuff from that era is just cool.

I'm a Ford fan aswell Hillbilly...Blaney the Buckeye Bullet i'm a fan of. watched him at a ton of sprints around here especially Eldora. His son is just like him, very humble and talented.
Kesolowski is a damn good Ford driver and made many laps around the midwest tracks I ventured like Flat rock, Michigan and Toledo before he made it big through Earnhardt jr gave him a shot...
Just lost my interest when Davey Allison Died in 93' He raced at Toledo Speedway and while I was in the pits (Because my Family raced) He took the time to talk to me as I was maybe 10-12 yrs old.
Then along come Kyle Larson whom reminds me of Davey very much..
Good ol'e days are gone. Now It just gives me a reason to drink beer and relax on Sundays... now I get to root for Kyle Larson the Davey Allison I knew is back....

Nascar will be calling him to the Hauler
If a tire comes off and fly's into the stands and kills someone, children maybe.
IMO This certainly shouldn't have been touched
Push in while turning brings weight forward/Backwards, left/right
Pull knob while turning lowers/raises deck lid
Dono but if Junior Johnson was still building cars you can bet your ass he would find a way....
Can we have another fantasy league this year? I've been gyped out of a championship two years in a row now and I strongly believe that this year is MINE!
My dad and I were at that race. Epic ending, but from our seats, we couldn't see the Allison/Yarborough wreck to its completion they just dropped off the track.
That finish is still etched in my memory, just like the first time I heard the pack come by the stands under green.
Papers in town the next day carried the headline "Petty Theft". Funny.

When Ernie got out of the hospital i went to Yates shop for Ernie's welcome back. Yates had all the stickers to make a replica t bird of Davey's white havoline car so i talked him into a price and brought them home. Another project I will do some day.
With ford going back to la mans it takes some of the butt hurt away from them leaving nhra.

I'm in a money league every year so I guess I won't miss it much.
Sorry man, you are certainly welcome to start one but i'm good this season.
I took Jr for the money league...hope he gets through the field OK (Starting last) before the "Big One" happens
