90's kawi frame ral colour ?

I'm in the middle of a kx250 restoration and the frames arrived back a completely wrong shade of green , the painter has used 6018 ral powder coat. Could someone confirm the correct colour for the late 90s kx frames thanks ,

I had my '93 kx125 frame powder coated "Kawasaki Green". I know Chuck Davies used RAL# 6018 for his '94 Splitfire KX125 and it looks pretty good. My buddy (who powder coated my '93 frame) offered a "Kiwi Green" and I thought it looked good and just a tad lighter, which I liked. Again, I ended up going with the Kawasaki green because it was easier to acquire. I can post a pic later.

And by the way, once your bike is all together with plastics and all, I think it will look damn good. What year are you building anyway? Going all stock or modded? Any particular theme?

the frame was stripped and sent back to the painter to put right but they are struggling to find what colour
'kawi green' actually is , hence the post here . thanks for the comments bike will end up a 97/98 clean / stock / emig mixed theme . all inspired by some of the great build threads on here tbh

Good choice on the stock/clean/Emig look. I'm undecided on mine, but it will be clean/modded a bit.

Just to be clear, there's "Kiwi" green and "Kawasaki" green- two different colors. You said "kawi green" so I hope you didn't miss that. Lol. I have like 4 color sample cards I can post some pictures for you later today.

I think the RAL colors are more popular where you are. And the descriptive color names are more popular here in the US. I found the powder at my local supply shop. I did some Ebay and Google searches. Your coater might be able to reseach that way too. Good luck!

Yes that looks very similar to how mines turned out
