Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
he got a podium on the factory kawi 450 a few years back, i think he can get some podiums in the 250's,
I think he will be a 3rd-7th place rider. Probably 5th in points.
*250 class, it's 2024 bro 👍
Safe assumptions above, I reckon about there too.
sorry I’m a big 2006 guy
The Shop
Outdoors will be the real test for the Triumph team and bike. No doubt about Savatgy ability.
Savatgy is an underrated rider, imo. And that Triumph looks good. I think Savatgy could deliver them their first win this summer.
Glad to see Joey back racing. He should be top 10 consistently
I’m gonna have to agree here!! I wouldn’t count swoll out on giving their first win either. He’s won outdoors before.
Good call, if Swoll can hold it together and have a good day I wouldn't bet against it.
We will find out.
...soon enough.
Yeah, the Triumph looks fantastic in the mx2 class. He could definitely fight for podiums. But let's see if he has anything for guys like Vialle/RJ/Deegan/Shimoda or Kitchen.
No idea
what’s a lites?
I’m guessing 3 moto wins, the good Moto’s will be a really good and the bad ones will be bad.
It'll always be called the 125 Class by me. Hope Joey does good. Plenty of contenders.
His last overall podium outdoors was in 2018 in the 250 class. He got 3rd at Washougal.
Edit: His best finish in the 450 class outdoors was 4th in 2019 at Ironman.
Edit 2: His last win outdoors was in 2017 at Washougal.
7-10 guy
throughout his career his overall average is 10th place, 12/13 average finish in 450 and 8th in 250
Pit Row
I say he qualifies
Joey hasn't lined up in a while... I wonder if he will have a little race rust. But he's been riding this bike for a while now, it will be good and I think he will be good. A regular podium threat I'd say and 4th-5th in points.
His last race was February 25th last year.
Triumph podium sweep (RC lines up for a race. Past champions don't have to qualify).
Better than Evan Ferry.
if anstie can do it, joey can do it. wouldn't hurt if joey were a bit more positive/energetic (and i can relate to him, speaking from experience).
In my opinion he should have raced the 250 in the 450 class all Supercross to get gate drops. Yes your at a power disadvantage, but you can work on passing people and just being in a racing environment. His first few races will just be getting back into the groove.
12th in points. Doesn’t finish series. 6th is best moto finish.
He raced wsx in 23 too
No matter where he finishes, I don't want to hear anything about setup, leaning the bike, growing pains exc. He's had all the time in the world to get his bike, fitness, mindset or whatever else we can imagine, ready to go.
Yeah but it’s never like race day intensity and how the track forms up etc.
he could have been doing Loretta qualifiers all spring to race rough tracks but you’re exactly right and I bet we will hear those excuses.
30 years old, was never a ”top guy” in the 450’s.
I’ll say he will be a top 10 guy with a top 5 result as his best.
I don’t see him beating the top riders from each team and they are a total of around 10 guys.
