Its a poor track for passing, although it is better going anti-clockwise.

It might be for TV but i was there a few years ago and it actually was one of the best GP's i've been to in terms of attendance, atmosphere, 'looks' of the track (the red sand, the sun, elevation) and just over an hour from Porto. Was no punishment to do that weekend.

Crazy that Prado is only up 13 pts with how dominant he has been.  Gasjer has to feel pretty good about that, but he needs some answers soon

Well it's P**sing Down in Portugal!

I have visions of the 2008 (?) Spanish GP's mudfest, if it continues into tomorrow.

It's racing Outdoors, and they are still going bloody quick in the EMX250 race right now. Good stuff!

125s handled things well. but admittedly it was nowhere near as wet for them.

I think I like, in a strange way, the Fantics front guards : the way they stick up / out like a Elephant charging. reminds me of my youth when Plastic guards were just coming in, and so many jutted to the skies, and wobbled about crazily.

Things could get quite messy in the upcoming MX2 and MXGP heats / qualifiers, though the rain has eased off just now.

Luongo's mob still haven't worked out a way to keep the cameras clear of rain water, the bloody Drongos.

They expect much more rain tomorrow. Won't be surprised if they cancelled the second motos, seeing how bad it already is now. Or at least an altered schedule.

Will be interesting races for championship standings. Track looks brutal with thouse ruts.

Would be grate to see some more speed on this track but its out of the window by the looks of tomorrows forecast.

Yes, Malin was saying it looks bad for tomorrow.

Hope that's not what happens.

MX2 race had some extended carnage on the first lap, and all the others subsequently.

Everts won by something like 28 seconds, but even he had some 'moments' early on. Still, when they showed him at the end, feet up and standing, he sure looked like his Dad in those conditions.

The 'large' Coenen, had a fair few offs - not sure how Little went with that.

They showed a lot of the other riders, and various battles.

Brent's rider from yesteryear got 2nd - good job.

The Big bikes up soon, after they complete a bit of track maintenance.

Should be a bit 'hairy' out there. Rains gone, for now, but the mud is  pretty bloody tenacious.

This should be weather for tomorrow. Not looking too bad, but considering how bad was today, I wouldn't expect anything better tomorrow.

Elzinga is a pretty good mud rider, if he gets a start tomorrow he could get on the box.

He told me after the qualifier today that the track conditions were pretty bad, tomorrow will be sloppier.

Conditions were about the same as yesterday for EMX125 race 2. Not too bad, more rain to come but hopefully it won’t get bad enough to cancel motos or anything

Damn, that's a effing bummer. His season has been pretty good so far.

Thanks for the update.

will be interesting to see what big conen can do today if he can stay on 2 wheels. De Wolf should be good in this condition also. But if i had any money they would be on Everts.

If Everts gets a good start he could win it for sure. I dont think Coenen can keep it up on two wheels. His speed is there but just too many mistakes unfortunately. Lets see what the race brings

Yikes, that 'landing on' between Karsmakers and Olivera was Nasty! I hope they are both OK.

Track seems good, considering the deluge(s). Let's hope the rain keeps light.

Nani Roma ( 2 time Dakar winner - 1 each bike and car) was interviewed. His boy tried to qualify for the 125s, but didn't get in - they often have numbers in the 90s and above with the 125s and  EMX250 trying to get one of the 40 spots. He said his boy would try again in Spain next week, then France. The Learning Process.

Everts looks good.

3 crashes for Coenen in 18min...sometimes he is a little bit impatient.
