Saw a hitch hauler on a Subaru outback last weekend, bike looked like it was about to fall off.

Hauled with a first gen Rav4 for several years with zero issues. Crosstrek handles it just fine as well but I would just be careful driving on dirt roads..

Tiny bit of hitch movement makes the bike look like it’s moving around more and I run 2 tie downs from handle bar and subframe to hitch chain mounts to hold it a little more steady. Keeps handlebar from turning to.

It looked like a crappy hitch hauler with a bad tie down job and 8 inches of sag on the rear of the outback. Plenty of good hitch hauler setups out there I was surprised to see how bad this setup looked.
