Pretty unreal deals right now. I’ve seen new Gasgas 450s under 8 and the kawis under 8, I got my 350 last year new for under 7, the deals are absurd at times!!

new bike prices are disgusting so you have to wait for these blowouts.

For those interested without wanting to navigate cycletrader, it looks like you can get 2024s for $6500-$7000 before TTL

Anyone know where? Anything on Yamaha? I love to get a deal on a yz250f for the grandson. But we.might also consider a kxf250 if the price is right.  Looking for something on the east. Anyone know a dealer that doesn't immediately throw that rebate right back in your face with stupid fees and shit?

I believe it is the rebate or the financing not both.

It is both on the KXs.  I checked with my dealer.  I paid cash for mine, but since I have money in a savings account paying 5.21% currently, I would have just kept my money in the bank and used Kawasaki’s if I knew this.

This is a nationally advertised deal, so the rebate and financing are available at every dealership in the country (if you qualify for the financing offer).

I understand this when there's a new model incoming, but to have this kind of rebate so soon after the release of an all new bike does not look good. I was convinced I was going to get a 24 KX450 as I was on an SR and loved it. Seems like the new one needs a fair bit doing to it before it gets good.

Yeah, but not all dealers practice business equally.  One you might can get the MSRP minute the $2k then they add another $2500 back into it so you end up. $500 plus over the MSRP.  They are some dealers that sell for the MSRP(even lower during hard times) - $2k and you actually can see the deal. I know where I can buy my KTM/gg/husky and Honda's like that but neither of those sell kawi or Yamaha.

I just looking for that good dealer on the side of the country.

Prime example, that dealer in Oregon versus say ride now in AZ.  The difference would be more than $2k after they both applied the rebates.

I very much disagree.  I had my friend who has a ‘23 SR ride mine (mine only has a PC T6 system) and he said it is every bit as fast as his SR.  The suspension is better, too.  The front and rear valving is much better matched than the previous gen, so once I got the right springs and oil level in there, I left it alone.  Plus, it turns much better.

Here’s a screenshot of the offer on the 2024 KX450.  It very clearly states that both offers are in play on this model.

I'm not saying its not a good bike but it already has this reputation of being one of the slower 450's, with the airbox being an issue. I haven't kept up with the thread but last I saw, a vital member was selling 3D printed parts to make the air filter system more useable? That was a huge disappointment for me as it was one of the things I was looking forward to most on the new bike.

For the record, I'm not saying the bike is bad or slow... but its got mixed reviews in the shootouts and it would seem that perception (true or not) has made for bad sales, hence the rebate so soon.

They did the exact same thing for the last generation bike. I got my 19kx 450 in February 2020 using a 2k rebate. The interest rate thing is definitely more about the state of the economy and the rebate is done like this every year with Kawi. So I respectfully think you are wrong.

It's still a 450 and only 3hp down on the yz . Everyone I know that has the new yz450 has tried to detune the damn thing . That being said the kx has horrible resale value , maybe all the rebates they have is the reason

Rebates don't help, but their build quality is terrible with chain guide bolt/guide problems, terrible fasteners throughout, and overall garbage quality...especially compared to Honda.

Yamaha must have something going on.....I saw Langston Motorsports in Cali advertising some really good prices on 24 YZ 450 and 250Fs.  Check your local Yamaha dealer.

Except the Kawasaki (even the new one with the corked up FIM 2025 compliant muffler) has beat the Honda in every shootout in every magazine and on every website for at least the past five years.  I switched from my twitchy Honda way back in 2019, and I have no regrets.

I live in N. TX & if you want a Kawasaki deal, you Have to go out of state. My last new purchase was a '22 KX250, and I got it for around $6400 OTD. That included a one time fee of around $200 because they were shipping out of state. I then paid a shipper around $500 to ship it from southern California dealership to my front door. It took 3 days total. Even after the $500 shipping, I saved around $1100 from my best deal I could get at every North Texas dealer I contacted. It's pretty stupid, I know, but in over 25 years I've never bought a new MX bike from a dealer in the DFW area.

Go to Cycle Trader, spend a half hour, and find the best couple deals. Contact them, find out what the additional fee(s) are, and what shipping will cost. Go the route.

I used a private shipper who only transports motorcycles all over the country. He was reasonable, fast & friendly.

You can tell 8tensolutions hasn't ridden or owned a Kawasaki real easy.

Wrong, wrong and wrong, but that's ok. Not only is the quality great, the brakes are superb, the motor is awesome and the cornering/handling is first rate. I've never owned such a great cornering bike as the latest generation KX250's

I always buy out of state. I live in the ga/Al line. My last few purchases have been 3 in miss, 1 in ga and 1 in Tenn. Avoid sales tax that way.  Looks like Langston knocking about $1500 off MSRP on the yz 250. So something is up.. all I've seen is like $750 Yamaha customer cash but only on prior years.

Can the customer cash be put toward the price or is that for like parts and gear and shit?

I'd love to own a Honda. I mean my son's headstone says #ridered and we always lived for Honda's but all the reading I'm doing says Yamahas and kawi. They say the ktms also but damn their parts are high (grandson on gg now).

Doesn't kawi offer the best contingency now?

What is kawi’s contingency? Can you race 5 classes and collect?

ktm has been awesome. Almost All the series in Florida offer ktm/gas gas/husky contingency. Where only one offers other brands.

on ktm my kid has raced up to 5 classes and has got up to $700 in a night. He’s trying to save up for a new bike to buy completely with contingency.

if Kawi or Yamaha had a way better contingency program than ktm I’d consider switching, although on the 85’s neither Kawi or Yamaha is really competitive

Yes I have, but not a recent one since the last one was garbage quality.  Rode great, but stripped fasteners/shitty build quality would prevent me buying another.  Maybe they have improved, but I'm out.  I am sure you love yours and that's great.

The best deal I have found so far is $7,598, but I have to drive out of state (about 7 hours) to get it. All the local dealers around Knoxville want to add approximately $2k in fees, freight and tax to the price of the bike.

Another dealer in KY told me that the current promo is the rebate or the low finance rate. I even questioned the advertisement on Kawasaki's website because it says $2k cash + promotional finance. That to me means you can take the promo financing in addition to the rebate. But the dealer would not do both. He said one or the other.

I work at a Kawasaki dealership and just asked about this. It's really only a good deal if you pay cash. There are cash stipulations and of course, They would rather you finance. Message me if you would like to know more. I don't think I can post the cash price on here.

ktm has been awesome.

It’s on their website. It used to be only 2 classes per vin at a given event.
Example - win in +30B and +25 B would bet me 300$ on contingency card. If I ran open B as well it wouldn’t pay for that class if I had a top 3. That was when it was 150/100/50 for 1/2/3rd place. I know they bumped it to 250/150 for 1st/2nd, don’t recall if third was still 50 or it’s 100.
also if you go over 600 bucks they send you a 1099 to bend over and pay the tax man. Nice thing about the Kawi stuff is you can spend it on whatever you want wherever you want, you just can’t withdraw cash from an ATM unless your designed A class.
fwiw it’s a MF’er x10 to get money back if the card info ever gets lifted…

Kawi is killin it in the contingency department. They were paying 1500 to win at rcsx. Last year on a yamaha i won and got $150. This year i got 8th on a kaw and got $100. Lol..
