lol, I like how you refer to it as your weeks of searching. But then all you represent is you are hearing this and hearing that. Glad you aren’t a reporter, or maybe you would fit right in the media with that story backing.

All I can say is my Stark experience both in the purchase/delivery oh and bike performance are nothing short of amazing. Less then a week from order to riding it.

I find it interesting your points about Stark are what hold you back from switching from your RM250. What held you back the other 20+ years from switching?

I've always wondered about these ever evolving, increasingly complex gas cans that require three hands to operate: Don't they have to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements?

Seems a little dramatic just to prove your point doesn't it?

If you can't buy them, how do they exist in owners hands?  Are the ones that people have bought all fake?

What about the dudes that are racing them already?  Is that fake?

Pretty fucking wild how pissed off so many of you goons are about the Stark.  Did it ever cross your mind that if you have to make up blatant lies to prove your point.....your point might be shitty?

But hey....don't let facts get in the way of your ignorance.....keep that shit coming, it provides for some good laughs.

Are you also in the crowd that is stopping child slavery by not buying a Stark?

My son has been riding Stark for a couple of months as well as letting everyone at the track take it for a spin.  100% of the feedback is that the fun factor is off the charts.  He has had almost no issues with the bike.

Thanks so much for unearthing the truth Laughing

Joking aside, pretty much everything you wrote has already been discussed here for a while, US legislation preventing Stark from doing direct deliveries, US dealers adding lots of different kind of fees...

Stark US deliveries have been a mess for a while, they were obviously unprepared to comply with the different sets of legislation of individual US states. Gotta say it's weird seen from Europe where registering/homologating your bike in one EU country makes its valid for the 27 countries, nonetheless Stark should have known better.

Their +300 dealers' training is probably very thin, it's a growing pain and got to be frustrating.

As of January there were 10 US states where Stark was not able to deliver, AFAIK the list is now down to 6 (Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio), which is still 6 too many of course.

Varg California deliveries (re)started recently, check out Temecula motorsports, they're not far from your place and they do have some Vargs in inventory.

Let me ask the Stark Diehard's in here:  Why would Triumph and Ducati enter the Motocross genre with ICE bikes now if "EV's are the Future"? I'll tell you why. Because the companies know EV's are dying before they even started. And once the people stop buying the highly unavailable E-bikes, They'll revert back to Fire breathing engines and look for something new like a Triumph or Ducati. They know E-bikes are dead and are showing up to pick up sales when they inevitably fail.

The future is not the simple either/or you like to portray. Both fossil- and e-bikes will have a place for some years going forward. Will one eventually kill off the other? Maybe - but for now, you better have both in your armoury. Triumph, Ducati, Honda,Yamaha,KTM are doing just that.  They can't afford to remain  static and hope to control the market, when new companies are bringing attractive alternatives that some (not all) customers will embrace.

Who wins? You do..if you open your horizons, try both and ride whichever suits your needs and takes your fancy.

Yeah, Ducati knows ebikes are dead. Spending millions to develop their first electric bike and become official MotoE supplier says it all Tongue

I can't believe you'd even let him take it on a track with other people given how absolutely dangerous it is to mix ICE bikes with Electric Bikes.....

PA resident, used a NY dealer. Bike was still shipped to my house. Use a NV or AZ dealer.

AMA rules are controlled by the AMA's OEM business members...

Triump and Ducati, along with the other OEMs can stop Stark competing in AMA sanctioned events, ensuring they have a market for their products.

Honda doesn't think EV's are dying

Happy Stark owner here since last fall.  The only mistake Stark made was under-estimating the ridiculous different dealership rules in every state.  Many states have rules to protect the dealerships and no rules to protect the consumer.  Tesla has run into the same problems, they just have 1000x more money and rabid fans that help fight the rules and get the laws changed.

I always say we should have stopped them before the gas can screw up. It led to diesel emissions and other follow the money problems. F them commie bastards in CA!

Out of curiosity, how many Stark’s have been ordered/deposits taken vs how many delivered here in the US.

Even when I buy Raychem heat shrink for making wiring harnesses, in the UK miles from California and the Euro market Raychem isn't even made in America, it comes with a state of California reproductive harm warning 😂

Well philG, of the 5 - well it will be 6 as of tomorrow - that my mates have bought, 4 have been raced - the one I've use of, the only one Not so far, as I'm stored in cotton wool before an operation. Apparently, if I've even a scratch, or a Mozzie bite on my leg the day of the Op, they cancel it - WTF? *Yes, I know it's about infection risks, but I'm never  without at least a few chunks out of my shins, as I'm a clumsy bloody Bear : I'm so f**ked if they are serious ........

So, they can / are being bought, and are being raced, in a fair few places Worldwide.

As for the OP - the "Ordeal" he's suffered? Doesn't mention that he ever even put a deposit on one.
