I used to skip the pit bits thinking it was just tech info but they get some good track side or behind the scenes shots to make you feel like you have a VIP pass.  Bikes are nice but I am getting the fan experience.

There is a drool factor to see custom or fun stuff that only 75 riders may have access to and the savvy to catch it on camera.  I am not a top of the list gear head but surprisingly when I see most of the pics I can spot what they are referring to.  

Color anodized, CNC machined or type of metals for a particular part aka titanium, extra holes or ways to remove gaps, hints at mods or obvious switches in bolt-ons week to week, rider bike setup, gear updates or custom graphics for the event, new sponsors or dropped ones.

Teams are becoming a bit unwelcoming to the photographers we have at the races due to the bits in Pit Bits. I personally don’t mind being thrown to the wolves but I’m not at every round. Working on a solution for this…

I appreciate it all. Just love to see what’s different about the team bikes vs. the bikes we get. I’m sure the teams don’t like it but it’s really interesting. Keep up the great work
