With his thumb injury I heard on Pulpmx that he's expected to take some time off but didn't say how long.

Anyone know if how long he will be out for?

He likely won’t race outdoors again except maybe select races for SMX positioning. He has how many career podiums? 3? Bizarre considering how good he was on the 250 his last year. Ran down Herlings even. And furthermore, had some great MXoN rides bumping up to the 450. He is great at SX obviously. Just doesn’t seem to have it on the 450 outdoors for some reason.

I’m certainly not surprised.

I think he’s bored of the whole sport.
The move to star refreshed him for a while. SX ‘25 he’ll be lacklustre, then skip outdoors again & then retire.

The guy is visibly pissed when he loses a race, has had more intensity and one lap speed than ever. Is grinding to find that little bit more top end speed.

I wouldn’t say he is “bored”. He’s frustrated when he can’t beat Jett, and he’s trying with a shit hand. Remove 1 guy and he’s your champ, and has been the second best guy all season. Hardly the attitude of a guy milking it in.

Get used to this. With SMX here these guy's are only going to do enough to get a decent seeding for SMX playoffs. It will be a full SX schedule and limited outdoors will be the norm. Outdoor titles will become less coveted after a few and the money will shrink even more for it.

Cooper Webb can't be bothered grinding outdoors - especially when he'd most likely not even break into the top five most of the time. Jett, Sexton, Eli, Anderson, Ferrandis, and AP all have him covered. Rather than 30 plus two, blistering heat, and speed, he's going for 30 plus burgers, gallon drums filled with fries, and a soft couch in front of a huge TV.

Remember that he get’s payed to race so he race. Until outdoors comes rolling around each season..

So here you are defending the Hunter Bro’s at the slightest keystroke hint of negativity and calling folks haters yet here you are posting absolute trash about an injured rider…

‘You are some kind of special.

Not sure why you got a downvote, that is nearly a verbatim quote from Webb. He's said he doesn't feel as comfortable pushing it at such high speeds as the other guys.

People just want to see the guy race the outdoor series. In this case he has a legitimate reason to miss some time but in the past it has definitely seemed like he just didn’t want to participate because he knew he wouldn’t be competitive.

Damn, who's going to finish at the back of the top 10 now?

Don’t step on Webbfan’s sore toes now, he’s had a hard couple of weeks.

We had to endure all the posts about Webb being a shark, who smelled blood in the water, after Gillette. They can deal with some ball busting

IMO skipping outdoors hurts his chances at a SX title the following year. These guys need to stay racing if they want to keep up with Jett.

I don't know ... Webb fans are a sensitive bunch , please tread lightly. I'm hoping to see him at the Okie from Muskogi hare scramble this summer .

Hey Goof,

You should boycott Vital, like you’re doing with the SX broadcast.
