In my opinion the first version of the shrouds was with the 2 basic holes, but the riders may have complained of a clinging feeling at the knees. So the team put in a grid to have a more consistent shape.

We'll see what the production bike will be like.

However, Honda usually has good ergonomics.

I'm hoping we will be seeing that production bike soon! I may be in the market for a new bike next year.

Right, wrong, or indifferent.....  A shiny, new Honda, sitting in the showroom is a pretty sight.  The red bodywork, fresh decals (even the Gov ones....), pristine aluminum parts, etc.....  they are stunning.  Unless it looks like a Yugo that is sporting 20's,  Honda knows folks will buy it for what it is, a Honda.  Fast or slow, they will sell every single one they build.  But I gotta admit, a shiny new RMZ still holds up after all these years from a looks prospective......

Honda does not build shit.....  Some folks may not like X,Y, or Z about a certain model, but they will almost always buy Honda again somewhere down the line.    Great stuff.

From Cycle World: With the 2025 motocross launch season already in full swing, it’s unlikely to be long before Honda makes an official announcement about the next-gen CRF450R, as well as the 2025 version of the CRF250R, although the latter isn’t expected to get the same styling and mechanical tweaks until the 2026 model year.

From the leaked photo it shows a redesigned 250 as well as a WE version. Oh well, maybe the official release won't be long.

New chassis, new airbox, new subframe, new bodywork, new suspension settings, and some other minor things.

Will it be comfortable to ride on a rough baked track after 12pm? That's all anyone should care about.

Good lord.

They're now officially worse than cars to work on -

You could cut 3 fingers off each hand and still not be able to get to anything in there. Talk about removing the bike from the part...

By comparison, it makes the engine compartment of an '08 look downright accessible -

But both make these look like you're under the hood of a '69 C10 stepside -

At this rate, it won't be long before they'll have saddlebags to hold all the crap they keep adding in the name of "improvements".

Gotta love a two stroke after a week of car work... Moto engine packaging is definitely getting snug.
