Every rider pull over on the last lap at the Salt Lake City Supercross,  Adam Cianciarulo gets his first win,  retires on top!

That would be great but what if he is a lap down

It would be amazing to see the stars align and Adam win.

I don't think he would want to take a win that was given to him like that with everybody pulling over for him. A podium would be amazing to see. Its a bummer to see him retire because of his physical issues. I can understand why hes doing it though.

I would love to see him somehow heal up and have a Dungey like return in a few years. I know its unlikely, but maybe if he's able to be off the bike for a few years something can happen.

I'm not sure "Look, we're offering you what you never were able to get by yourself!" is such a nice farewell present...

BTW, Ken (who's actually able to win once in a while) didn't really appreciate Jett's gift for his second baby...

That sentiment feels nice for a second then you realize that it is a gift not something earned. With all of his setbacks, he has busted his ass to come back and fight for wins, it just hasn't worked out. A win like that would be empty. And he'd be ridiculed for it.

Maybe he gets the heat race, but no way they give him a main. Shit, last week someone wouldn’t even let his own brother get a W.

I'd love to see him come out wearing the 292 and just wreck shop like it's 2014 all over again.

Jett can't give a win away, he needs all the wins he can get, to match McGrath.

I was hoping they were going to give Hunta the blue flag in the heat that Adam lead most of the way a few weeks ago!

Jett's currently winning 50% of the Supercross mains, at that rate it will take Jett 9 years to match McGrath's record.

Sexton is the only rider near Jett's age that has won a Supercross main this season, Jett has finished ahead of Sexton in 80% of the mains.

When older riders retire, Jett's win rate is likely to increase, he may match McGraths record in 5-6 years, Stamp it!

When AC graduated from amateurs, who would have ever thought we would be staring down the barrel of his retirement talking about people pulling over to let him get his one and only win. Damn this sport is brutal.

Adam would probably be a good sport about it and probably not sulk that he didn’t “earn” the win. If anything, he’d probably be touched that his competitors made such a grand gesture as a collective.

But it doesn’t matter because it ain’t gonna happen.

The AMA could do a double gate drop, giving Adam the lead from the start.

Cianciarulo, Pastrana, Cooper. Probably the best three to never win a single race?

Did Kiedrowski ever win a 250 SX? I can’t remember.

Thanks. That must have been the period of the 90s when I’d just joined the navy and didn’t really follow moto for a few years.

Real racers don't want to win like that.

5 years is a long time... 9 years is even longer.

I won't get too excited until Jett has 50+ wins, but he's certainly has a chance to catch MC.

Spot on.

....but we're living in the "everybody gets a trophy" age and people actually think things like this are okay.

All of those riders won outdoor nationals.  Pretty sure he was referring to a premier class Supercross win.

No! why reward under achievement?

You missing the point here bud. He is one hell of a character liked by everyone in the pits.

Insinuating that AC is a under achiever is grossly inaccurate to say the least.

Great thought by the OP and I'd love to see it happen.

Maybe the 3 podium guys could carry Adam to the podium and make it his moment. Let him spray champagne on the fans, make a farewell speech, stuff like that.

^^^^   I like this idea, but  I think it should be done by the guys he's competed against his whole career.

None of that "here's your fake win" crap.

Get the fuck outta here with that under achievement shit.

AC is a god damn NATIONAL CHAMPION, dude made it to the top, period.

Not everyone can be a 450sx champ, doesn't mean they "under achieved".

This isn't even taking into account that AC handled his entire career, the ups and the downs, with a level of class and humility that we rarely see in this sport.

Dudes a fucking legend, thanks for the ride AC.
