Where does that wire go? Michael Lindsay

To Chad Braun's laptop. Engine/ECU tuners usually make the trip to Denver as it's the biggest swing in elevation the teams face all year. Michael Lindsay

Chad Braun operates XPR, who has done the engines for MCR and many more for over ten years now. Michael Lindsay

Ian Southwell giving Levi Kitchen's steed a once over. Octopi Media

Levi Kitchen's Pro Circuit KX250 has no frame grip tape, a little odd in this day and age. Michael Lindsay

A closer look at the LED light mounts the PC team made instead of wrapping the leader lights around their forks as provided by Feld. Michael Lindsay

Levi Kitchen is a bit on the lankier side and runs his bar mounts in the forward position of his Pro Circuit triple clamps. Michael Lindsay

Ti-6 Pro exhausts are available to the public. They're quieter than the standard Ti-6, pass AMA pro sound limits, but require more frequent repacks and make a little less power. If you're a weekend warrior, go for the standard Ti-6 or the T-6 model. Michael Lindsay

Three wins in 2024 for Kitchen and his wrench MattyG. Michael Lindsay

It's good to keep notes. Michael Lindsay

Can Kitchen add the first plate to Mitch's doors since Adam Cianciarulo in 2019 and the first Supercross title since Justin Hill in 2017? Michael Lindsay

Easiest way to get your hub out when it's time for new rims? Just take some beefy cutters and get it out the easy way. Octopi Media

The Lawrences do practice launches in the pits on a small folding grate, getting a feeling for how the power and clutch react at the weather/elevation conditions of each venue. Michael Lindsay

This is what it looks like when people try to block your shot of certain parts... Michael Lindsay

It looks as if the KTM crew has added a 3D printed cap cover to sorta...hide the KYB cartridge caps. Michael Lindsay

The number one will become the number four in just a couple weeks. Michael Lindsay

Curiously, Sexton was back on the works WP shock in Denver. Meaning they must have found a direction similar-ish to what they were doing with the modified stock shock with a KYB piston. Michael Lindsay
Place Holder
The KTM crew almost always runs data reels in practice. Michael Lindsay
Place Holder
Sexton utilizes the production sized axle on his bike instead of the larger factory one found on most Austrian factory bikes. Michael Lindsay

That gear pops. Octopi Media

Serious thinking going on here. Michael Lindsay

Not sure why, but JuJu's Arai helmet was missing all of its clear plastic covers for the vents. Octopi Media

BamBam has been much improved as of late. Octopi Media

Denver was Barcia's third week aboard the KYB insert fork and modified production shock. He mentioned to us in an interview that he had tried the setup a month prior but didn't gell with Sexton's initial setup. The latest version is a bit stiffer and with a different stiffness swingarm to match. Michael Lindsay

While Sexton moved back to the works WP shock, Barcia was on the modified production unit. Michael Lindsay
Place Holder
WP factory teams have been keeping an eye on their fork temperatures in the morning at some recent rounds. Michael Lindsay

Cooper Webb has been struggling with thumb strength and arm pump on his left arm due to a UCL injury. Oddly enough he has adapted a sort of lock on grip on the left side. Michael Lindsay

At first glance, the Star Yamaha 450s appear to have production linkages but up close they look to be machined. Want a V-13 rocker? Michael Lindsay

We spotted a hydro clutch floating around the 250 truck. Michael Lindsay
Place Holder
It was on Nate Thrasher's bike. Michael Lindsay
Place Holder
This part has been common in the MX2 paddock for Yamaha's factory teams but uncommon in the USA. Unlike the current 450 model, which can be adapted through a simple parts change, the 250 requires a case modification to enable its' usage. Michael Lindsay

Noah Viney made his delayed pro debut with the MCR Honda team in Denver, but sadly didn't make the main due to numerous on-track mistakes. Hopefully we see him get another go in Salt Lake. Michael Lindsay
