Hey, fellow riders! I am very interested in making a plan for an off-road trip in Spain. Could you tell me, what are some important off-road places in Spain that you have been to or know about? Do you know about certain paths or areas that have both difficult ground and beautiful views? Maybe it is wise to hire a guide or be part of a travel group for this journey. I would like to receive your advice and thoughts while preparing for this adventure.

A place that I think of is the Pyrenees area. It has very rough land together with amazing views. Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is a beautiful place with difficult paths and amazing lakes. Sierra Nevada in Andalusia is also an incredible region. There are difficult trails which go to wide views of the mountains and sometimes you can see the Mediterranean Sea when there is no fog. If you do not know this land well, it could be wise to travel with a group or get a guide, mainly if you plan to explore far away places. Safety first, right? Good luck with your adventure planning!

Hey there! Thanks a bunch for those awesome suggestions! The Pyrenees seem like a perfect place for people who love driving off the road, with all their rough terrain and beautiful views. The national park called Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici looks very special because of its hard paths to hike and peaceful waters - I will make sure to put it on my list of places to visit. Sierra Nevada in Andalusia is very stunning, more so when you can see the Mediterranean Sea on days with no clouds. You speak truth about safety being of great importance, even more on ground we do not know well – maybe it's best to hire a guide or be part of a tour group for this reason. Thank you for your thoughts – they are very useful while I plan this journey. Also, since you spoke of safety, I have researched private tours and found a site that provides guided trips in Spain, such as https://gowithguide.com/spain Is it a smart decision to choose a guide when you go off the beaten path, especially for someone who does?
