If you could go back in time and put a GoPro on any rider for any race, which would you pick?

DeCoster at Unadilla vs Hannah.

Yup, At the 1978 Trans AMA race, that was my first of many trips to Unadilla, Those two went at it pretty hard, I was watching one of the motos from the top of Gravity Cavity, In the tight chicane out back where the Skyshot is now I still remember Bob trying a outside pass on Roger and then Roger ran into Bob, Bob crashed and his pipe was crushed ,Bob lost a lot of power and Roger pulled away. GoPro footage would of been awesome.

That was over 45 years and I still have it burned into my brain, ask me what I had for breakfast yesterday and I probably couldn't tell you.   lol

Zach Osborne Vegas 2017. Down in the first turn, comes through the pack and blasts Savatgy to win the title.

Wonder if Reed doing the Chadapult at Millville would be good footage?

Pretty much any race of RC or Stew in their prime outdoors. Those guys would practically just pin it wide open and hang on from start to finish. That razors edge of domination and disaster would leave me speechless.

Lots of ones I can think of. But I wish I could see a GoPro of RV on his 250 , at the MXoN's race.

Wow didn't see that coming from you! lol

For real though he was before my time but from what I've seen and the stories my dad would tell me that would be one hell of a watch. Have to remember what those guys did with the machines they had back in the day is incredible and Magoo was one of the most extreme.

Budds creek ‘03 with Bubba

Hangtown ‘15 with Tomac

Steel City ‘11 with RV and Dung in the last couple corners

Texas ‘12 with Baggett coming thru the pack and busting out the big double in the sand whoops

First two that popped in my mind when I read the title were among the first listed by others.  Hannah and Howerton at the Saddleback massacre and Hannah and RD at Unadilla.  Honorable mention would be Bradshaw on the 125 in the sand at Miami in 1989.  Crashed 5 times and still won.  That would be a fun go pro watch.

Damon was leading the race, he was lapping his friend Shane Trittler, who crashed and flipped in the air and landed in the back of Damon’s bike.
You’d think that the cameras would’ve been on the race leader when jumping down the paristyle jump, but there is no footage of it anywhere.

A ton of good ones already up! I gotta add 2013 MEC. The battle Stewart had with RV in moto 2 was bad ass! I'd be game to watch Go pro footage from either rider!

Stew at budds when he went last to first on the 125

This would be really interesting as his speed was ridiculous at the time and coming through the other racers it would give cool perspective of just how fast he made his way past this group.

Agreed.     Glad I was around for the best years of this sport.

Nice to see a number of people named Magoo.    The legend lives on.
