For Kitchen's being 19 I think he knew he needed to dominate this year and try to get a factory ride. I think that played into his decision to stay with the Limited Class. Without big money or a factory backing, it is hard to keep with these pro built bikes. If he had a Star Racing Yamaha or pro built engine I think it would have been a no brainer and he would be up in the 250B class and run with the top guys.

Was leading +50 and ended up 3rd after a crash with 1 lap to go after being away from the Ranch for 9 years. I was wondering if the announcers were going to make mention of his indiscretions and Kevin Kelley did it perfectly saying "I bet someone got a video of his crash. There are perfectly positioned cameras everywhere".

Neither he or his son logged practice times. He is signed up in +40 and his son is in 125 C limited and 250 C Jr. They may have not been running their transponders in practice is my guess.

8/3/2020 6:12pm Track conditions are the biggest thing for me. I can ride woods or hard pack style tracks way longer on a 2 stroke. Riding a deep tilled rutty redbud style track is an entirely different game.

8/3/2020 2:00pm I don’t know how far you are from Championship Powersports in Toledo, but I used to get all my bikes from there when I was younger and trying to avoid local relationships and taxes (haha) and they were awesome with OTD prices.

I switched from the 450's about 5 years ago. The 250 is NOT a lazy mans motorcycle, that is if you want to be fast on it. And please, do not show anymore pics of that ESR YZ on the web. Just a public service announcement.
