Jeremy Macduff Added a reply to It’s time for a new team Chase

He doesn’t lack fitness and he can def hang with the best. He needs to not crash. As soon as he dumps the bike, he’s done. Call it headcase, call it not jelling with the bike. Something is off.

This pains me to say, I bleed green.. I haven’t owned another colour dirt bike since 2010, But it IS the team / bike. I see in all the other threads people say “but Ken just won on a Suzuki” or “he just needs to ride the bike” well Chase IS just riding the bike, he isn’t publicly complaining about it, he is obviously trying really hard and it’s not working. Is Chase Waaaaaaaaaay too picky with bikes? No question.. but with how Prado looks after getting off that team and now how Chase looks on there, I think the...

Bro, no amount of technology or AI is ever going to protect your precious little dome and organs from the effects of rapid deceleration. If encasing the human body in a giant bubble is the answer then fucking do it. Have ChatGPT design that shit

No one in professional motocross makes the kind of money needed to actually OWN a jet. Maybe a super rich business owner, but no pro moto athletes have ever made that kind of money. $100m net worth is generally where you can justify owning a jet. Prop planes, leases, co-shares… sure

I dont think these guys have the net worth to own a jet. Cw2 in a 50% share may chart out. Typically jet salesman look for a net worth of 50 million to own a full sized jet. But if you have a few $$ you can make a go at it, its just a big draw on the bank account.

Proper trauma workflow will involve both. CT for bones. MRI for soft tissue and, in the case of neck injury, the spinal cord itself (not the vertebrae). Eli clearly did not have spinal chord damage. There's a lot of empirical evidence gathering from the moment he gets trackside assistance to the moment he's in the Asterisk Medical Unit to the...

What is there to figure out? It’s a two lane road with really only one way in and out. No one is going to sacrifice a bunch of land to build a parking lot for an event that happens once a year. Best way to watch Pala is at home with an ice cold beer and charcuterie board. Maybe a...

And remember you’re talking about a patient who is already at a hospital. Bouncing them around from different imaging modalities is convenient and very necessary. The top priority for a gravely injured rider at a motocross is to get them to the hospital, not dick around with imaging.

They do not have a portable CT in the Alpinestars rig. Just xray and ultrasound equipment. Only motorsport I’m aware of that has CT scanners onsite is MotoGP. Not even F1 has one. Largely because it’s not necessary to assess immediate trauma. They’re better off stabilizing and zooming to the nearest hospital. What good does a trackside CT do if...

Family shit can go sideways sometimes. Been there, done that, it was awful, but now it’s all good. Pro racers aren’t immune to the same stresses and strains us normally folk are. I’ll be rooting for Jason when he returns.

Not condoning domestic violence, but we don't know who initiated it. In my generation, if a man is a victim of abuse by a women then retreating is the obligatory action. That said, times change and you can't have things both ways. Given the modern views on gender and equality who am I to say your defense can't be offense. We don't know who escalated things or how, although rumors exist, so in my opinion condemning domestic violence is the right thing to do but don't assume who perpetrated it.
