The bike had a hiccup in the middle of corners. Every time I see Chase ride his bike looks soft and moves a lot compared to other top guys. He clearly likes a lot of front end feel. When you watch his forks they compress quickly and rebound quickly in the first 3-5 inches of the stroke and then progressively ramps up the stiffness. I heard that too, but nobody claims ownership of that claim. But if James claims Chase's dad was second guessing him that is pretty damning for sure.

That would appear to be the most likely option. Very low chance in the near future that anyone signs Chase for a fat contract. He’ll get low salary and chunky performance bonuses for his potential. Sad to see really; as a Jett fan he was the guy I was most worried about 3 years ago.

It is so dependant on how Jett is feeling. I think hunter may have a couple slow rounds to start coming off this SX battle. I think Prado, Deegan, and possibly Tomac are going to be up there the first rounds. It will be interesting if Kenny keeps the momentum moving or if he gets the "sx hangover" as well. Marchbanks and Webb will clash it out for the title. Ferrandis and Jcoop will be the consistent podium guys with Chase and Tomac joining them every now and then. I think it depends if he wins the SX title. I think if he wins it he won't need the SMX points from outdoors for the end of season playoffs. I hope he races some Nationals.

Be crazy to bet against Jett if he’s fully healthy. He’s still only ever lost 3 overalls one of which was Ironman with the gate debacle.
