Sidi are true italian and they tend to be narrow in the foot, very snig fit all over gaernes are buitl pretty solid, little heavy and the hinge point is tight around the ankle but i like the feedback the sewn on sole gives.

Thank you! As for the looks, I really can't thank Ryan at Throttle Syndicate enough. I know we're not even a fly on the elephant's butt that is pro race teams, but he doesn't hesitate when I throw out an idea to run and treats us like absolute royalty. As an added bonus, he's a fellow RM Army member so we bounce a lot of ideas for the 450 off of each other! I have only ridden the works motor in the parking lot at Oak Hill😂, but I'll try to get some time on one myself soon. That motor...

I'm going to try to break this up into categories for the sake of making it simpler if someone replies with a question, so here goes: Here’s what goes into the Motonation/Kwikset/Suzuki arenacross team bikes. The majority of the motors is the brainchild of Dean Baker, JGR engine builder himself. The only teeny tiny thing I’ve done motor wise is construct an electric water pump. Here’s how the bikes looked during the AX season, the good photos are courtesy of the incredibly talented River Guth.

peick retired after literally getting the frame of a bike landing on and crushing his head. He has a lot of hardware up top and was way to mesed up to ever compete again.

I’ll get back to you guys soon. I have to start getting ready for the race over here in Costa Rica. But I’m friends with Chase (and Broc). Kawi asked me to help with some testing and feedback. I’m not currently in any obligations with anyone since the HEP team hasn’t been able to put a deal together for me to stay there. So of course I agreed to try to help the team and Chase. It’s so cool to me to get the opportunity to help a team and riders of that caliber so I’m thankful for the opportunity...

I thought they did this a while back? I know they moved something there a few years ago. Their building in Cypress looks empty every time I go past it.

hangtown could be hard pack again, but it gets a lot of sand and chips through out the year, in part to keep the track nice for practice year round and avoid issue with local air resource board who get pissy if theres any dust. in addition, the area used to be surrounded by cattle land but a lots been...

Ty's best ever 250 Supercross results is a 13th... He has scored one top ten in an indoor setting, with a 7th at a SMX round last year.

Night two in Mesquite was great for us, as Kwikset brought out a dozen or so guests and had a catered suite, the boys rode well, and we were able to give out 180 shirts to happy fans and somewhere just shy of 1000 motosport outlet gift cards. Special thank you to Kwikset for inviting some families out to experience the races, and giving us the opportunity for so many families to leave with a cool souvenir. We may have even given a few shirts out to fellow pros at the event. If a DFW company is interested in taking...

he looked rough out there, suprised he didnt stick to a 250, I get a 450 is cheaper to build a competitive bike but he was a podium threat on a 250.

times are different all together. Riders are smarter with training and recovery (inspite of the seemingly increased workloads) but teams, more importantly, are working to keep riders for longer. Contracts over 2 years were rare or a 3rd year was only an option upon performing.

get it plated. having your bones heal back incorrectly will cause more problems down the road. if you need you can always get it removed later.

Again, interesting reading. I'm at the end of the spectrum compared to many here. 62 YO, working since I was 15, and planning on retiring in 18 months. I've even picked the date - July 30th, 2027 will be my last day employed. I'm about to move to a life of drawing down the cushion I've built (mostly over the last 25 years) instead of relying on income, and it's scary as hell. Healthcare costs, inflation, taxes, how long will I live all make me worry that what I've saved/invested won't be enough. I have a considerable sum, but the...
