we spend about 3 total weeks on Flaming Gorge per summer for the last 15 years. our first trip is in a couple weeks. i'm really nervous about what we are going to be getting into, beautiful reservoir.

I stick to racing stateside, but have friends down there and watch pretty closely. Per Fishgistics, not a TT/bike collision as some were reporting earlier but an individual event that TT came upon with the rider already down. Not sure if crash, heat stroke, or other cardiac event. Helo couldn't get that close to land, other racers on site did best to provide aid but he sadly passed on. My most sincere condolences go out to the family, team, and all the individuals on site that did their absolute best to provide support to a fellow racer and human.

I would. Weege is amazing and outside of this dumb thread I’ve never seen people complain about him. Stews insight is bar none. His ability to analyze and convey what’s happening on the track is insane. Few people alive can read and communicate what’s happening with the rider and bike on his level, let alone make it funny and digestible. This thread is top tier vitard action.

Probably, dude. That's like the taking a dump on your Mother-in-law's Thanksgiving turkey of workplace race-team etiquette. Half the people there were up late slaving proudly sleepless hours building that bike. And everyone else is just trying to chill, be friendly, get ready for the next race, and weren't anticipating the possibility of being hit by a tantrum-powered green missile.

Well, there’s a fairly reasonable response. Me? If the ghost-riding and damn near hittin’ Garrett tale is true? Via the behaviors clause… I’d fire him. Sounds harsh? Not to me. Also, I don’t care about the team and bike stories. Not for a second. He won A2 & SLC. Garrett’s holding his own and making progress. There’s an entirely new chassis on the way…and besides all that? Though it’s been awhile, I interact with him through private messages. I just went to send him a message after reading this thread and, he’s no longer accepting messages. Not sure what to say at this point. He’s probably locked up in a motel with some Slavic hookers and, Van Halen playing on loop.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with most of you on this thread. I’ve been riding/racing moto since 1983 and I can quit anytime I want to. Not an addiction.
