I'm 27 years old and have been riding and racing dirtbikes since I was 7. I absolutely live and breathe motocross, even though work right now only allows the occasional riding session with my buds.

Now for the reminiscent part. During highschool I raced about twice a month and was a top 10 85 rider in my region. I raced a few nationals, with my best result being a 14th overall at the winter olympics at Gatorback in the 12-14 85cc class. I once had the opportunity to represent my home country of Guatemala in the Latin American championships. I finished 5th behind some very fast Brazilian and Costa Rican riders!

Oh and of course I ride a trusty '05 YZ250 now.

Man, if that's the case, that sounds like a painfully slow way to fix a bike. And not only that but, by the time the engineers decide the next change, it may be a different day with different track conditions.

Thanks for that picture. It really seems like they were unsure of the need for a red cross flag. If they put it out for Hunter and kept it out, it would've been fully displayed before Eli and gang even came around the corner, but that wasn't the case. Completely agree and I should clarify, I agree with their decision not to penalize the riders, but I completely disagree with how they've handled this situation and not taken any ownership or provided clarification on the rules.

THIS. I was about to say it's unfortunate because the red flag stuff has really detracted from the better story which is what a hell of a job Jo did off the couch after such a crazy injury. Absolutely phenomenal job by that kid.

If that pic is correct no it’s not enough time, also with some one right behind you, makes a massive risk of getting landed on screw that. But I’m saying that it must’ve been put earlier for Hunter to see it ? It’s been a shit rule for ages, so hard for them to take all that info while racing.

The AMA stilled screwed up by not putting the flag out in time for Tomac and immediately retieving it. Almost as if they screwed up to begin with.

Looks to me like his air filter is one size too small. I've also noticed some lateral movement in his piston when he skims the whoops. The cable housing in his clutch is too stiff, as well.

Podcast said Kawi haven’t change the bike in 30 years so pretty sure it has an Answer Roost Boost. Everyone else is using factory ECU’s so that would explain the bad starts. If they can get him a power commander he should be back up front.
