I didn't know HRC used TESA tape on their SX/MX bike looms... learn something new everyday (MotoGP bikes have it everywhere... its TESA 51036 is anyone wants to copy at home)

I can write a book about this, but I'll try to hit the main points… First off, not all aftermarket clamps (or parts in general) are equal. There are few companies making good clamps, a lot of companies making mediocre clamps, and some pushing out rather garbage clamps. Just because it's aftermarket, doesn't necessarily make it better! You are asking about the Soft version Nitro Mousse. They are considerably softer than Michelin, and used for technical enduro riding. If that's your type of riding, use the Soft Nitro.
