Jessica Patterson took the second moto of the WMA’s fourth round at Washougal, which gave her the overall win for the weekend, her first of the season in the AMA/WMA Women's Motocross National Championship Presented by Kawasaki.

JP$ grabbed the holeshot aboard her CRF250, and took off out front, while a trio of riders that included Sarah Whitmore, series points leader Ashley Fiolek, and Tarah Gieger duked it out for second, third, and fourth. Ashley eventually got around Whitmore, while Gieger eventually moved into the third spot. Those finishes also matched the overall for the weekend.

Now some of the ladies from the WMA will head for the ESPN X Games in So. Cal., where they’ll compete in their own Moto X event for the first time.

The next round of the AMA/WMA season will be held at Motocross 338 in Southwick, MA, in four weeks.
