Yes, we've posted the Lawrence's factory Showa fork caps before in 2025, but they're just so cool! So here's another look. The gold flathead screw is the bleed, the raised blue flathead next to it is a port that can be used to fill the chamber with air for damping/spring assist via air pressure. Lastly, the center adjuster is two parts. The outside dial can be used for pressure spring preload, while the small silver adjuster in the center of that is for standard compression adjustments. Michael Lindsay

The SLR Honda pro and amateur bikes are CLEAN! Michael Lindsay
PhoenixPitBits-035
Why are the pro bikes 2024 models and the amateurs 2025? Prep time and a dialed-in motor package from XPR. The 2025 has a different airbox that still took some tuning so with the tight timeline for A1, 2024s were chosen for Parker Ross and Billy Laninovich. Michael Lindsay

KTM and WP have done a better job of keeping their forks under wraps. However, there's one major tell-tale that Sexton still has some KYB parts onboard. See the outer fork cap wrench area? The spacing is different on a KYB versus a true WP cartridge. Michael Lindsay
PhoenixPitBits-055.jpg?VersionId=G
See how the spacing between the wrench surfaces are farther apart on AP's? That's a WP cartirdge. Michael Lindsay
PhoenixPitBits-054
Fork lug wise, here's AP's on the older style lug with the larger axle. Michael Lindsay
PhoenixPitBits-052
Sexton's lugs use the production axle size axle and are sort of a copy of the Technical Touch lugs that most KYB conversion kits use. Michael Lindsay
