Hi everybody,

The plan is to make a '02 SoBe Suzuki replica from my pretty much brand new '09 RM125. My guess it that it has done less than 20 hrs owned by a girl.

This is how the bike was when I picked it up:

In the past year I have raced it once or twice.
I could'nt resist to put the magic numbers on already:

Somewhere in 2016 I got my hands on a rare Blimpie Suzuki team graphic kit and on a very rare '02 SoBe Suzuki team graphic kit.

I decided to send the SoBe Graphics to my graphic guys and let it be replicated.
It was finished last week after me wanting to adjust it a time or 7. I am a pain in the ass for them, but I just want it to be at least 99% perfect ;-)

Here is a part of the kit showing the great result:

If you want to own a complete kit or just a set of (custom) numberplates I can help you with that. Just contact me via info@hbmx.nl.

That also counts for a replica of the original jersey Travis wore back in the day. Name and number are customizable but will be in the same awesome font!

Well, on the hunt for some parts now... First up are the yellow Excel wheels with billet hubs...

Last week i had a great find:

I'm pretty sure that's an 08. That's the last year they made RM's. Looks brand new.

08 was last year of RM250 but 07 was last year of RM125... but he is in europe and i think suzuki still made them for euro's for a few years after discontinuing in U.S.

They stopped building them in 07 but they kept selling them right through till 08/09 here in Australia and New Zealand. VIN's still relate to what year it is though. I've got an 08 RM125.

As you can see in the photo, there is ´08 in the rim. That is the production year, so model year is ´09. That was the last one by Suzuki in Holland.

There was even a 2010 "Limited edition" in Holland offered by the importer or a dealer with fresh graphics from a local graphic company.

Well, you don't have to put in all the hours I lost count on focussing just on the graphics, haha!

There aren`t really any 09/010 Rm125-250 modells. Suzuki sold New K8 modells from 08 til altleast 010. They are still new even if its a K8 modell

Not to keep this thing going too much longer and chewing up your build thread, but I caught up with a mate and he has a mint RM250 that was bought in 2010, VIN says its a K8 and it wasn't left over from 2008 it had only been in the dealership for a few weeks, could have been transferred from one dealership to another or left over stock from suzuki or something...
