My son and I built an 04 also. It was a turd in stock form. We threw the stock carb in a box and went with an air stryker. Rad valve . Pro circuit works pipe and silencer. Changed out airbox to an 05 straighter boot. Added 1 tooth to rear sprocket. He's 185 so we used 06 crf 450 forks and shock on it. It was like a completely different machine. Raced it a few times then in fall sent the top end to Eric gorr for porting and a bigbore. Its his favorite bike now. More for play than racing. So .ugh fun to ride.
