Not necessarily. Certain silencers are the "forestry approved" spark arrestor versions. Most others are for "closed course only."

But I have this PC on. Ready to bolt on $50 shipped.

Ok thanks bob. I need a spark arrestor. A forest approved silencer is what I need. Already have a standard pc silencer.
