My brother just sold this to a local hardcore XC racer. Fuel injected, electric start. Pretty trick bike. I'm not into offroad racing, but I'm curious to see how he likes it. He's coming off a Yamaha.

My TM is the best bike I’ve ever owned. The thing just makes me happy looking at it. It’s a 19 144MX i ordered new. I loved my KTM but this thing is so much nicer. I’ve got 76 hours on it now and will for sure buy another new one in 2022 when they get new styling. I wish more would consider these bikes. Not a huge fan of my YZ especially it’s build quality in comparison to the TM.

No. Much more than Yamaha, and depending on location, $1000-$2500 (sometimes more) more than KTM depending on model. My 144 was around $2800 more than a 150 would have been where I’m at.

Yes they have as many MX as EN models. I have 76 hours on my 19 144MX, not a single hiccup. Been the most reliable bike I’ve owned. I get parts quicker than I could for my KTM. And less parts are back ordered compared to both KTM and Yamaha. Longest I’ve waited on parts was 3 days.

I briefly had a 14 144MX, and since sold it to a friend. That bike has 114 hours, also not a single hiccup and they hold up so much better than other brands. Looks new still.

How is that even possible? I can get anything for my husky in 2-3 days from Rocky Mountain. I just don’t understand saying you can get parts quicker than you can for your KTM.

Beautiful bike though. I’d seriously consider buying one.

Prices aren’t crazy high and the 300’s are actually less than KTM/Husky last time I looked.

My son does ride for TM so I could be biased, but the build quality and hardware components are 2nd to none.

They have 2t MX bikes in 85, 125,144,250 & 300
Four stroke bikes in 250, 300, 450 & 530
Two stroke off-road bikes in 125,144,250 & 300

To me the off-road 2t’s check all the boxes you could want. Available with carb or fuel injection, KYB, stock with both e-start and kickstart, counter balancer, electric power valve and 6-speed transmission.
Can also order them with the gearing you want, bigger 3.2 gallon tank, Ohlins Shock, radiator fan etc.

Local dealer vs Local dealer. TM stuff is 1-3 days or same day.

You can order a TM as a MX or EN configuration with choices of carb or EFI, suspension configured for your weight/type of riding, different bars, MX5/EN5/EN6 transmissions, standard or oversized radiators, cooling fan, lights or no lights with or without the extra wiring, MX or EN CDI, tall or regular seat, black or clear tank, oversized enduro tank, with or without kickstand, 18 or 19” rear wheel, raw or plated pipe, solid top triple clamp or rubber mounted bar clamps, standard or Ohlins TTX shock. You can truly custom order these bikes. You can get a 450 with the full blown supermoto engine. You can get a 125 chassis with an 85 or 100 engine.

I ordered my 300MX with heavier sprung suspension with EN settings, EN 5spd transmission gearing, clear tank, tall seat, rubber mounted bar clamps, plated pipe and 18” rear wheel. Basically a stripped down EN with MX engine. I can flip through all of the aftermarket catalogs I want but there’s basically nothing I want to add to it other than a few extra off-road protection bits and maybe mousse inserts. I got an extra set of 21/19” wheels ready to go so it will easily pull double duty for Mx and off-road.

I don’t know how these bikes aren’t more expensive. If you buy one and put it together out of the crate you’ll see what I mean by that. They are unlike any other production bike.

I agree on the price thing,

The price difference is like going from a base model to the top trim of a normal car (figuratively speaking), but you are actually going from that normal car to a Ferrari.

Nice bike. My brother rides a TM300mx 4stroke and he has his grandson on a TM250mx 4stroke. They both seem to like them. But they're pricey for sure.

Always loved looking at them. there’s something about them that looks old, but new at the same time.

Based on that price list they are cheaper than ktm tpi bikes and already have a kyb fork so not bad pricing at all. The Mx smokers are a little high. Does anyone have the thumper price list?

Which KTM price list did you look at? None of the comparable KTM bikes are more expensive that TM’s, which they shouldn’t be.

As legit as Yamaha's. And even better according to many.

Ktm 250sx is around $8500 but the 250 tpi is $10k. So the tm enduro is cheaper but the Mx is more expensive. A ktm 125sx is about $7300 so quite a bit cheaper than the tm.

Interesting. The 300 with the Ohlins shock would probably be pretty legit then.

Ridden one with the Ohlins quiet a bit and heavily prefer the TM shock. Both setup for me.

TM’s are legit, everywhere! Their in house shock is amazing. The stock KYB SSS forks were much better than my Yamaha’s SSS forks from factory also

I had a 16 300en. Bike was awesome for the first 15 hours. Riding one day it shut off couldn’t get spark ended up taking off the stator cover and it was full of stagnant rusty water. Not really sure on how that ended up even happening as the only place I had been on it was windy hill mx and my hare scramble track at home that has no water. Took it back to the dealer he installed all new stator and electronics but it never did run right after that. But it was fast and I would rather have one than a yz any day handled great and looked even better lol.

It got there somehow. Pressure washer... all bikes can get water in there. Sorry to hear your situation.

What’s the homologation rules in the states? How come no one races TM’s?
