OK guys after a few requests the 90's MX/SX thread has been moved to the Hall of Fame
To re-visit the 90's thread click HERE
Now it's time to get stuck into the 80's!
Same as the 90's thread guys, feel free to post ANYTHING you have about the 80's. Favourite riders, bikes, tracks, battles, gear...whatever! Let's hear about it.
The 90's thread went 25 pages without any negative comments or keyboard fights (a Vital record perahps? ). Let's see if we can keep this 1 clean too guys
I'll kick it off with one of fave riders of the 80's. The guy with more nicknames than Ali, the OG Bad Boy, RJ, @ 87 MXdN Unadilla

I had the pleasure of meeting Micky a few years back in Sydney at a Supermoto race. Later that night we met up for drinks (not planned) and he was a SUPER cool guy. He was more than happy to talk about the good old days of 80's MX and was very candid when I asked questions...lots of questions Anyway he is a super super good dude. If you ever get the chance to meet this guy, DO IT!
I got him to sign this picture for me then I had it framed. He said he actually remembered that day and that it's a rare photo of him in a Bell helmet as he was only testing the helmet.
