He found it in a barn & the guy only rode it once & it was sitting there ever since. It was showroom when he got it. He stripped it down & rebuilt it. It is super trick. He has $12000 into it including the $5000 he paid for it. I think it came out great.

It has an RPM 280 kit in it. Ti axles & bolts, All the trick coatings on the suspension, TCR wheels, Ride Engineering clamps & Calipers, steel braided brake lines, Hydraulic clutch, Carbon fiber parts, & bunch of other stuff that is escaping me at the moment. It hasn't been ridden & it is for sale if anyone is interested.

I like that Factory Euro Honda look.

The green fork legs are purty.

Now its time to ride it and get it dirty and scratched up properCheerful

As long as they aren't dented/scratched and in mint condition, pipe, silencer, reed block, shrouds, axles, front fender, wheels, clutch cover, ignition cover, seat cover and brake hoses.

Is it just me or do the fenders look a lot longer than the bike?

I notice that is stock suspension (simply meaning not "kit" stuff) with coatings done to it, where did he get the lower fork tubes coated at? Love that green color!

Needs a 280mm front disc from CRFstuff. That stock disc looks tiny inside that cover. Other than that, that is a sweet bike no doubt!!

I think the picture was just taken at a bad angle.

Cool. I got the last 'round' 280mm CRFstuff disc on my 96 CR. He only does the wave ones now I believe. Fit like a glove with his bracket.

What projects are you currently working on Pete?

Pete, Leo was nuts spending that much on the bike but it sure looks good. I'd definitely buy it but I love my KTM. He said he lost track when trying to figure out just how much has invested in it & that he feels that 12K is on the low side. You should have a pretty good idea cuz you built it. What do you think?

rpm big bore stroker, 2600
the coatings, on suspension, and the fact that the guy sent us back a four stroke shock shaft and lost the other one and we had to buy another set of suspension and then send that out to someone else, so you can prolly really only count haf that but it is money that he spent when we did it, but i do have a black nitrate shock shaft for a 450 honda and a set of showa forks leftover

That's a pretty machine but I'll take a bone stock 450 over it any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Just saying.

cool bike but no one in their right mind is gonna spend 10K on a cr250

what he'll wind up doing is selling the thing for 4K and parting the goodies out

And if my uncle had a vagina he'd be my aunt. Big deal. Doesn't change the fact that NOTHING comes our of a corner like a four stroke 450.
