Okay, don't know everyone here, but have a pretty good feel.

Simple request. I think it'd be extremely interesting to have a "show of hands" of all here that have won a supercross or motocross main.

I'm serious. You don't have to tell who you are. I'm just sure most folks would find it very interesting, and we'd at least know who has better insight into what happens/happened during the series.

Hell, we can even extend it. Who's raced a supercross or motocross main, and what was your best placing? Year would be interesting too. I think this could be fun.

No, Quads are probably worse than the washed up couch racers... Just kidding (but quads just aren't fun to me for some reason).

A small handful of guys here have actually raced at that level...? What was the point of this thread again....?

i had thought about thinking about being fast enough to attempt to try and qualify to race a supercross or motocross main. does that count?

No, not at all. I've never shot down anyone's opinion here. I don't race, so that would be stupid.

Just think it'd be very interesting as a fan to be able to apply a certain "weight" to the replies around here. That's all.

Donald Upton was my main rider..I also helped Michael Young for a few rounds.. This was back in 1999-2001 So it's been awhile

Ooh, wait...I've got one; a college friend of mine (whose name is mentioned in another thread) raced a supercross* main at the L.A. Coliseum - back in the days when the track went through the columns. From memory, he may have even led for a few laps.

Does that count?

*I don't believe this was an AMA sanctioned supercross. It had a Le Mans-style start, i.e. the riders were lined up on one side of the track and their bikes and mechanics were on the other side of the track. At the drop of the start flag the riders ran to their bikes while the mechanics kick started them.
