Thumpstar, a player in the pit bike world is apparently set to release a new 85cc two stroke MX, It look suspisciously like a KTM but also enough different that its definitely hasnt gone full clone. you never go full clone

I think it’s cool that companies like this are starting to take this leap. Reliability would be my biggest concern with a bike like this, however. Additionally the lack of aftermarket parts would not only limit the bike’s potential but make common repairs more difficult.

Regardless, I think the bike looks good and I wish them luck.

$3,499 with basically no long term parts support, no aftermarket support.. no thanks
