Searched the web, a majority are of the right side, need one from the left side as well? Anyone stored some good pic in their HD?
Trying to build a "replica" of some sort...

Tnx, but that's way too much of a hassle, just my curiosity and focus was on the aluminum frame version. Again tnx for considering.

Gonna have a tough time replicating those bell bottom forks! Good looking bikes though. You shall provide us pics, right??

say what you will about him but DV12 was a really cool cat when i met him several years back and he actually just gave me one of his race helmets for my collection. i was able to talk to him in the pits prior to the southwick national and he told me to come back after the races and he would give the helmet he wore that day. sure enough he was a man of his word and did exactly that. the one he is pictuted in and the one i posted i purchased from a private collection.

Visually. Internally they're SSS with extra oil capacity.

Ha! Forks are NOT part of my humble vision, low expectations on budget and outcome, I knew what bastards set the standard around here.

My "replica" will fool my wife, not many others! I will post some pics further on... Right now I'm restoring process. Just discovered the complete linkage was toasted, previous owner hated grease, while had a power washers fetish...

dv12's height really gave him an advantage from sheer bike control,

all I can remember though is ricky in front of them most of the time though ^_^

Little known... Yamaha showed up to the one of the nationals in 2004, with this aluminum frame, early. They painted it blue to detract attention from it.

Who has a photo of that?
