Anyone else think these new style front fenders are dorky?

One ride on my 16' Kawi 450 last week and seriously....that front fender was bugging the hell out of me. I loved the style of my 12' Kawi front fender , so I ordered one up and it's going on my bike. A lot cleaner design and about 1" narrower. I noticed that almost all the new bikes have bigger , wider , all space aged out looking fenders now days. This bug any of you other guys too?

16" is on the left , the 12' is on the right.

The Kawi's not that bad, but yeah, front fenders are getting uglier every minute, the '16 CRFs being the worst, IMO...
The whole stock KXF desperatly need a good graphic kit anyways...

One manufacturer following the other's lead, going with what's in. Similar thought process with the updated plastics available for the Yamaha 2 strokes, so they look newer. Cater to emotion, and shit will sell.

I also dig the modern fenders! I've been running the yz250f front fender on my 06 yz 125 for years now. always hated how boring and weird the stock one was and now ive had a ton of the newer four stroke front fenders and i believe now all the yz two strokes come with the four stroke front fenders

I don't really mind them.

But I do think the ones with an angular downward bend in profile just look like you wadded it up in a crash. In fact, nearly every single PW50 in circulation has had that same fender contour installed by their rider at some point.

Agreed. The Husky ones are the worse. Glad KTM went away from the shovel front fender from a few years back.

I still like the looks of a Preston Petty "Tony D" Replica front fender myself. But that is just my opinion.
