Back on the bike.

Long time lurker/short time poster. Been off a motocross track since 2002 and off the bike since 2003. Finally after years of saying "I will get a bike next year" I finally pulled the trigger on a well taken care of 2008 Yz450F. I bought it off of a buddy so I know the history, which made this purchase that much better. My first ride on the bike was at a track in Mass, MX23. The suspension was set up for my buddy, who is 230lbs, which I am a big boy so I had a rough time. So, I made the commitment to myself to put 100% back in to something I love talking about, watching, and doing. I called up Factory Connection, and got the ball rolling. Thankfully I am from NH and so is FC, sent out Thursday and they sent it back Friday so course I got everything back Monday. Plenty of time to get the bike back together for my ride today at NHMX, formerly Jolly Roger's. Set the sag up to FC specs, and had probably one of the best days I have had in a long time. I just want to thank Tony Lorusso for making this facility top notch again.

My cousin and his son rode today as well

My cousin Chris last ride before he ships out to Marine boot camp in December

And our Buddy Bryan showed up for some hot laps

Thanks for reading.

Yes he does. He did a few laps yesterday and he looked incredible.

My father has dementia and I have committed to being his night and weekend caretaker, so this will be probably my last ride of the season, due to the availability of having some one/s to help so I can get a day to ride. Plus the snow will be here soon.

Sorry to hear about your father! That is a tough disease for all involved. Cheers to you and your family! I will say a prayer for your father and your family if you don't mind. Good for you for getting back into the best sport ever!

i do not mind. Dementia/Alzheimers is very sad, but i know that the path i am taking with him is the best and i will have no regrets. Thank you for your kind words.
