Nice bike. Is it an 06 or 07? How do you like the yoshimura RS-2 exhaust? I want to replace the pro circuit Ti-4 on mine eventually.

It was a 06. Im digging through a old hard drive to see if i can find old supercross pics and ran across these and the Suzuki pics i posted. I ran Yosh's on a lot of my bikes. They kinda tone down the snap, but they pull great . Ive ran them on dried baked out Louisiana tracks all the way to Three Palms when its fresh. When you go from a stock exhaust to the Yosh you will initially think you made the wrong decision. Just keep riding with it, its just smooth and predictable.

Had an 05 and 07. Hands down the best bikes I’ve ever owned. I’d trade my 19 kawi 450 any day if I could find a new one with the magic button lol

That 19 KX450 was splashed off that generation Honda. It has a button,FI and basicaaly the same frame dimensions. All that is missing is the red plastic and Honda quality.

Not trying to be smart as or anything but I’m Curious where you found that out at? You read that in an article or bike test? I’d like to read it if so.

Looks great. I kept my 05 Honda crf450. I really loved the ergonomics of that model. Some day I'm going to get that crf and an 02 yz250 going again.

Talking at the the track one day with Dubach. At the time he was working quite alot with Yamaha development. Mentioned to him I really liked my 19 KX and felt very comfortable on it. He knew that I rode my 08 CRF pretty well and stated the KX was developed with the 08 as the benchmark.

Very nice. I'm doing one also. Does anyone know where I can get a set of 22mm offset clamps?

My dad had one, great bike bulletproof, handling and suspension was just as good as modern bikes. They claim the dry weight was 217

I had a set of RG3 20mm anodized red clamps on the bike. Took them off and went back to stock. For high speed Mx tracks it was just to nervous and twitchy for my liking. The increased rigidity of the clamps was very very noticeable. You could feel it!!! Night and day difference. I also had that oil cooler they ran for the nationals that year. Took that shit off too.

Try Applied Racing. You can also run stock 2008 crf450r clamps, they came with a 22mm offset.

Ktm when they came out with the 350 and new fi 450 they also worked off the dimensions from that 08 450.
That's coming straight from a convo with The Man while they were testing the new 450

Thanks it was so long ago I think it was E-line. It protects the water pump, which is GOOD.
Like this one.

I absolutely LOVE my 2007 CRF450!

I was lucky enough to find a mint one owner 07 from a fellow Vital member who made me a great deal on it a few years back! Freshened everything up, some retro graphics/seat cover from Throttle Jockey and a wheel rebuild with gold EXCELS and its 1986 all over again!

I’m no longer racing or riding as seriously as I used too, and after I recently sold my 2019 KX450 to an old coworker when he made an offer I couldn’t refuse, and then he put his money were his mouth was! Ha 🤪
I still wanted a great bike for occasional fun days at the MX track with my buddies and their kids and this great ol’ HONDA is the perfect bike for that! 😎👍
