This is my look back at Honda's awesome new CR125R for 1986. This was a big year for the sport of motocross with the move to the Production Rule in the USA and Honda stepped up to the plate with an excellent lineup of class-leading machines. The CRs were at or near the top of the class in every division with the CR125R dominating its competitors with an excellent power package.

What an amazing time the 80s were in motocross. I ended up with a '86 KX125 but got to ride a 86 CR125 both were really good bikes. I liked mine better tho!
