Here is my tribute 61 Greeves MCS 250 to the late great from England Mr. Dave Bickers who passed away last August.

Dave on the same type bike in 1961.

Here is my restored Greeves like the one in the picture above.

I was fortunate enough to get Dave Bickers signature on the front number plate before he passed. The person that got the signature for me new him personnaly. When she sent the front number plate back from England the box had a little surprise in it. It had a winners plaque with Dave's name on it from 1959. How cool is that. An actual plaque he received at a race in 1959.

I need to take some photos of some of my stuff.
- I have a signed pair of Mark Barnett's pants from 1981.
- I have a bunch of signed posters from the late eighties and early 90s
- I have the original tickets, souvenir program, one of the little American flags they past out at the gate to cheer on our guys and one of the Be-Ray course markers from the 1980 Carlsbad GP that Marty Moats was the first American to win at. I really waved that little flag just like thousands of others did. Great day in my life and MX history.
- I have signed pictures in frames of my three idols: Joel Robert, Roger DeCoster and Brad Lackey
- I have a few souvenir programs from some 250 and 500 GPs in Europe from 84 - 86

I'm sure I have some other stuff I can't remember. I need to get busy....

Thanks DCB33. To add to the story, my dad was in the Air Force and was stationed in England from 1959 - 1962. So we were there when Dave Bickers was the man and won the European 250 Championship in 60 & 61 before it became a World Championship in 1962. I was only around 5 but I remember going to my first MX races then and seeing nothing but these Greeves on the starting line. It all came back full circle.

I have this pic of Kenny wearing one of my "OC" t-shirts a friend made me. Also have one that just about every rider signed for my birthday. Thanks to my bro Richard, he rules!

WOW ocscottie...Did you get Seb Vettle's signature? I'm a big F1 fan. My daughter's husband is in the Air Force and they are moving to Hungary for two years in October. I plan on going to visit them next summer and attend the Hungarian F1 race and hopefully Loket MXGP.

Do you know where I could get a similar display?

Remember when RV came out of the closet? It was my closet. Grant Langston is in there with him, he just hasn't come out yet.

For all you youngsters reading this. Keep your shit. Don't sell it. Don't throw it away when you move 30 times while in your 20's. I have watched hundreds of moto items I tossed sell for $500 or more on ebay.
