Fast, yeah, but there were guys around here that were just as fast.

I watched him come thru 85s,rode B then A with him here in dozens of races.

So,I know

Didn't he choke, loose the SX title ,then fade away?

Not as bad as Rodney did though

Wasn't there an infamous pic in MXA of Bradshaw getting up after a crash with his pants falling half down. Forget what National it was but I think it sparked a feud with MXA for a number of years. Throwing rocks at the MXA photogs, etc.

Anyone recall that from the 90s?

I don't know if they showed it on TV or not. But last night Juliana Daniel did an interview with Damon Bradshaw. He's working for EBR Performance or something. Maybe someone here knows more details. I was in the hall and saw him on the monitor and could not quite hear what he was saying. Had I known that, that would have been the #1 autograph I would have been hunting down in the pits. I don't know if he's at all the races or just some, or what the deal is.

Maybe someone here can chime in. I'm super bummed I did not know that. I'm not a big autograph hound and just do it for fun if they're being done. But that's one I would have been hunting had I know he was there.
He works for Gas Gas and Fly among others, He’s been at a lot of the races this season. He’d love to give you an autograph , much different from his racing days.

I was a huge Badshaw fan. I remember being at High Point for the National one year and he was still on an 80 riding during the Saturday amateur races. It was amazing to watch him and what stuck out in my mind was watching him huck a big double that pretty much only the best big bike ams and the pros would do. He always rode with an attitude which was both a curse and blessing at the same time. Imho the best to never win a big bike title.
He lapped me on an 80 at the Six Flags national ... And I was running top 5.

I was watching some old races over the weekend and I think the year was 1991- Bradshaw beats Bayle and after the finish line he starts pointing at him over and over...then in his interview he says he would never let a French guy come over and win. You just don't see this type of stuff anymore in our politically correct world.

And yes, before there was more rivalry towards foreigners, to JMB was booed a lot from the public and all the riders tried to make things as difficult as possible for him, JMB also liked to bother the yankees, and the truth is that he got it, because normally he won more, what a phenomenon!

JMB was and Is a bad dude. !

x2 I do not remember anyone on the east coast being anywhere near him. He was on another level until after his early retirement.

Was anyone here at muddy creek back in the late 80's early 90's when Damon smoked Mike Brown on his home track? That year I believe they ran it backwards, Brown got the holeshot and was checking out. Damon caught and passed him, slapped his front fender in the air and Brown dropped anchor.

This is not a good synopsis of his career. Sorry but not at all. There was a point in time where he was THE MAN. Go back and watch the 1992 season and revisit this opinion. Sure, he lost the title and that's fair criticism but if anyone thinks he wasn't the fastest guy on earth that year, I would love to hear why.

That was kinda my point. What Webb says and does today is considered controversial, but it pales in comparison to Bradshaw back in the day. I mean, talk about taunting!

I don’t remember the details but I’ve heard DB twll this story recently. To his account MXA was frequently misquoting him or stirring up tabloid drama and when he crashed at that race he saw one of the MXA photographers snapping pics so he started throwing rocks at them. He refused to do an interview or anything with them for probably a decade or so.
