The black and white shift gear worn by Craig and Lawrence was about the most badass gear I have see in a while. Cool I still have some of the old Black and silver Shift gear from the early 90s which is still cool today but they knocked it out of the park with colors this week.

Nice! That Shift gear is spot on.

Did you see Baggett’s black Fly gear in practice? I thought that looked fantastic.

They’re 2 for 2 this year. Last weeks red gear looked great, too. Not usually a fan of plain white cueball looking helmets, but the all white helmets they had this week with black/white graphics looked REALLY clean. Camera showed Craig on the line and I was thinking “damn that helmet looks sick!”

Shift have been slaying it since they came back in 2011. Season average they’re probably the cleanest designs and freshest colour combos each year.

It didnt go away but I don't think they had as much push for Shift gear in the pro arena. Around 2016\2017 they started really pushing it again and got Kenny in that yellow stuff which was wild at the time.

What gives with this youthful trend of ‘mouth above the chin guard’??

I’ve seen a few kids do it and you look a right dick!

On to the gear- on the bikes the black/white looks fantastic!
I thought Dungey’s team/pit shirt at A1 in black & white looked bland.

They had Hepler and the MDK KTM 250 team for a bit but it seemed like Fox was almost passing it off as a Kmart brand, fuck it was bad.

2011 they came back with Chad’s team and new logo, design themes etc, been really good since.

I think the solid or two-tone color schemes normally look the best. Maybe cause its a little more subtle or perhaps I'm just to old for all the swirly neon.

I was looking at that gear set at my local dealer and there’s no leather on the knees. That set wouldn’t last me a month of riding. I agree it is badass looking.
