Hey everyone!

So! What kind of Sprinter van setup are you running? I see a ton of them at the tracks, and will be in the market for one soon..

How do you guys set yours up? Are you just bikes with some seats, or the full mini-motorhome setup with small garage bike storage? Pro's/con's? I am leaning toward doing the mini-motorhome setup for multiple use(surf, moto, snow, vacation, etc).

Sprinter is nice, you might also check out the Transit with a twin turbo gas engine. 10 speed trans and 410 ft pound torque.

I know Joe Carlino has an awesome setup. Basically one of the coolest moto vans I've seen.

Speaking of which , where heck is Joe?

Mine is a full conversion on a VW Crafter LWB sleeps 4, sink, gas burner, toilet, full electrics with leisure battery that charges as you drive that powers LED lights, phone chargers etc, it has roof vent, Fiamma F65s black edition wind out awning with all sides, built in jet wash and lots and lots of storage lockers and pockets etc including a hidden one for storing phones, I pads etc while away from the van, can carry our sidecar and all tools spares etc in the garage but we have just done a 12 day trip with 2X motocross bikes, 3X bicycles, 3X surfboards and lots of other stuff... oh and I have recently fitted BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres... they are awesome, no extra road noise and the van handles great on them.

Thanks... the toilet is under a lift up lid on the right in the photo looking back towards the bed area... it took a long time to get it to where it is, it’s a 6 year deep project but I’m really happy with it now, everything has a purpose in it, there is no wasted space. I’m thinking of buying another van to convert and sell...

Right on man. You did a killer job on that build. Seriously , one of the best I've ever seen. I have seen some conversions in the sprinter van's that were not for moto , but just for camping ( Like a mini RV ) and was really impressed on what people can fit into one of those rigs.

I went with a Promaster after a 2005 Sprinter. I have 136 tall roof. Great for city driving but a bunch of room for travel. Since the pandemic, I've been using it a lot for camping and which I had the 144. I did an easy simple build, very inexpensive.
I recently added a Thule awning that is roof mounted. Very easy to open and close. I like it better than the pop up.

Excellent thread...there’s even a side-hacker in here with a VW that’s got the slider and the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car!

Love the different builds.

What kind of track is the bed on to make it adjustable? Did you custom make the bed frame and everything or is it a kit you can buy? I’m going to be building out a high roof transit and was going to go fixed bed, but i won’t have a dirtbike in it all the time so it’d be nice to move it down to mountain bike height.

It’s an Adventure Wagon RUV interior kit. I’m not sure they make it for the transit, but you can buy the bed or the whole interior for the Sprinters.

I have a 2015 Ford Transit 350HD - extended high roof that I built out and I love it. I don't have any water or sink/toilet/shower in it, so it's mainly for shorter trips or trips where I stay at a campground or something like that for their facilities, however it works great as a moto van. Can fit 3 full size bikes in it no problem, have done 4 before and it's tight but can be done. I've got a TV mounted up front by the couch so that I can work right out of the van if I need to, or I can watch the motos while I'm camping at a track.

Adventure Wagon Full 170 /144 Sprinter High Roof Cargo / Crew kits and Acc's currently available.

Ford Transit Kits and Acc's are slated to be released in the next few weeks. High roof, 148 wheelbase NON-EXT CARGO models first- Crew and Mid-Roof models to follow.

Ram Promaster kit development is also beginning soon.

The stand alone MOAB Bed Kits will allow a height adjustable, easy to remove bed solution that will fit bikes, cargo , etc. underneath. The bed kits are a bit spendy- but well built and thought out.

Base Conversion Kits like the V1 /V2 kit seen above are also available in addition to the bed set-ups.
