Well, hate to say it...... but I made that same choice about 8 years ago when I basically quit racing every weekend and focused on college. Some people are just lucky enough to make that decision later and much higher in their racing career than I did

So what happens to the $260.00 the gofundme page raised ? do they refund the cash or does it still go to him. How does something like that work?

totally understandable. Racing in front of 40,000 people and live TV, to 200 people in a cow field. hey, at least you guys can say you were there.....

If Ben stays local here in the NW , there are some really good paying pro shoot out races like PIR and I believe Riverdale ( used to be Castlerock ) , followed by the Washougal national. Bummed for him , but maybe a good guy to have as a fill in if a team needs someone out there.

He's on a Husky. He's from Alaska........He needs a dog food sponsor.

Lots up that way have 8-10-30 dogs. Hell, lots anywhere out west in the lower 48 have lots of doggies.

Sure, but not always........and not all are competitive.
Lots of outfits have deals with dog chow suppliers. They put bowls of it out for the dogs where they launch.

most of you have it correct, I'm not going to be racing the WHOLE national series. I have no way of getting my bike to the races and the cost of racing to the amount you earn back isn't worth it. Outdoors payout is ridiculously low if your a privateer and I can earn more money staying at home racing local stuff and make more money. There's some over seas races I have in the works to do and some big purse money races aswell, I wanna race the nationals here so definitely don't count me out. If there comes a fill in ride I'll be ready, I finished 12th overall in the 450 class last year and I feel much stronger and mature this year to put it inside the top 10. If anyone needs to get ahold of me my email is bensjamin426@aol.com

He finished one spot behind Chad Reed outdoors I believe, makes you want to hire guy like LaMay then a guy that doesn't
give a shit about the outdoors & made his money.

Like to see what he could do on Chad's bike.
