I got excited there for a minute.....
I thought it was a 1974 Suzuki TM250.
What a machine.....4" of suspension travel with 5 way adjustable shocks !

I see KYB on the forks. Do you suppose they are the SSS forks that Yamaha uses, or are the triple s forks only for Yamaha's.

Wow, awesome bikes! Looks like the one on the right has dual silencers. Do they come like that stock?

yes it is the SMX 450 supermoto the bikes come as you see them

The difference in the SSS forks are mostly good settings stock. All the modern KYB forks are "speed sensitive"

Per MXA: Yamaha Kayaba SSS forks are 90 percent speed sensitive, whereas their position-sensitive competition is only 30 percent speed sensitive.

Did the '74 400 still have the "lateral hinge" frame/swingarm setup? That was always the best part of riding the big TM- the way the frame would load up any time you got to the apex of a turn and then suddenly release that energy and spit you in a random direction.

All modern forks are "speed sensitive", don't let Yamaha's advertising department fool you with a buzz word name like "SSS".

The TM KYB's are the same as 2010-2013 YZ450 forks with different valving specs, or at least the 14's are.
