Damn fine motorcycle. I am currently in the process of a Suzuki 450 project. You should be extremely proud.

That lever position helps you maintain an elbows up position. I run mine in a similar position.

+1. I run my levers super high and I'm a form Nazi.

That's one of the best looking bikes I've seen in a while. Only thing I would have done different is blue hubs. You did well.

Brad....maybe you already mentioned this....but some blue Excel hubs would look sweet on that thing! AND.....if you ever get the time....maybe a black powder coated frame!

Jesus Christ.....that thing would be so purty , you wouldn't want to ride it!

looks awesome man....good job!

I didn't realize that Pro Circuit had their "Powerbomb" style header for sale to the public.

Bike looks awesome.

Finally, someone who runs their levers a little lower than mine. Sweet bike, like all the trick bits.

I'm 6'-5" and I have to run my levers low also. I can't bend my wrists enough to reach the levers when standing if I run them near level.

I'm 6'3 and in all my years of riding and racing, I have never thought of trying them lower for better reach when standing, and I have a standing up riding style also. I will have to try this when my collarbone heals. Less than two weeks until I am cleared (hopefully) to ride. I can't wait.

I'm only 5'11" but I run my levers pretty down too, just how I am comfortable
ps: sweet ass ride dude, I never understood why some people think that stock colors are the only way bikes should be

6'2" and I have always been taught to run my levers even. Mine are slighty lower than straight and my elbows are up. To each their own is right.

Hard braking when standing with your weight back is really the reason to have levers in the "accepted" high position. Just think what would happen if you hit braking bumps in that position and your wrists are bent to reach your lowered levers.

For everything else, lower level do make a lot of sense.

LOL, I've said many times before that the 250F could very well be the "perfect" bike. For myself, I've always liked the 125 but always wanted a little more out of it. The 250F bridges the gap between the 125 and 250 2 stroke. I snagged the first YZ250F that hit this area back in 2000. Still got it, and one of the the first CRF250's that hit Houston. Don't have any plans for another. Too bad they are so damn fragile and cost so much to repair. The KTM 150 also bridges that gap and is a lot more fun as far as I'm concerned. I find the 250F a little boring compared to the 150. Doesn't mean I don't appreciate a nicely done bike.

My dad used to put mine like that to force me to keep my elbows up, and it just stuck!

Nice bike man, very cool!
