Firefox was working fullscreen for me. I did a little digging and they've got some Javascript errors going on with Chrome. Hopefully they will get that fixed soon. Someone posted an alternative fix for tonight though. Check that out.
Thanks dad. There's at least 3 threads of people bitching about the app. The app works fine if it's used the way it should be, if you're trying to watch it on a television.

It’s hilarious becuse I’m positive that I’m younger than him.
The app isn’t designed or advertised to be only used on an Amazon fire stick so it make sense to bring awareness to issues in their official apps on other devices and websites to work out the bugs. No reason to buy another thing if you already have thousands of dollars worth of other capable and supported hardware. He’s just a dunce using another throwaway account.

You're right. I'm sure it's a huge conspiracy to steal money. Because that's the way business works.
Isn't it supposed to be watched on the NBC Sports (black) App now?..... Not the Sports Gold App?
I'm watching on the NBC Sports (black) App on Fire TV box with no issues.
I'm using all 3 tonight to compare and can't see a difference in any of them. NBCSN gold on PSU and through Firefox on the htpc. And the stand alone app on PSU. 1080p on all 3. I don't have a 4k screen yet , so that's probably helping the bandwidth.
I’m in the same boat. The frame rate is terrible, looks low quality to be honest. It’s not very smooth. Watching with 100mbps download speed on an Apple 4K tv to a 4K KS8000 TV set. Looks like shit and I’ve adjusted the video output settings and nothing helps.
Funny, NBC Sports & Gold app for live tv, the picture quality looks like crap. But, go over to Fox Sports Go and watch live tv and the picture is excellent. All this is done on my TV set ...where Supercross should be watched. Can anyone tell me why this is, it’s been this way for the Nationals also. When SX was on Fox Sports Go it looked awesome as well, those days are gone. $90 for low bit rate quality is retarded, and a rip off.

Pit Row
It was pixelated at times. Hopefully my $89.99 can go toward getting something above 2009 CBS level of image quality.
EDIT 4.19 now on replay. :-(
