Question for a novel I'm writing

Edited Date/Time 6/26/2019 3:09am
Hi, I'm working on a novel that features a scene where a character uses a dirt bike to escape from bad guys in Humvees, riding off road through rough, wooded country. I'd appreciate any help you could give me about what kind of bike he'd be riding.

I want it to be powerful and fast. Is a 350 too small? Should it be two stroke or four?

Thanks so much!

I'm gonna point you to "Charlie's Angel's: Full Throttle". I'll waive my usual $10000 min consultation fee. As a bonus your get to see cross dressing Vital members in skin tight suits, as well as it being educational.

You should name the main character "Tony Stewart" after the fastest of the Stewart Brothers. Dont forget to mention how his mother Martha Stewart used to make him train 8hrs after school each day.

This ^^^^

Make it a 2005 Honda CRF250 and you could include an extra fifteen minutes of nail-biting tension while the guy attempts to kickstart it even before the chase begins.

"What? No I hadn't heard that!' would make a good subtitle for the cover.

250 two stroke ... put a ton of elevation in the chase and when the plug fouls the "good guy" has to resort luring in the baddies and attempting to appeal to their sensetive side.. A Dr Phil book in a backpack would help here... then cut to the funeral procession.

Holy crap almost forgot. .. seriously you have to put a seat bounce in the chase. You'll F with all the readers !!!

We might be on to something Jamma10, a collaboration maybe? Maybe "death by four stroke" or something along those lines, I can have my agent in Wales send you over some paper work tomorrow if you're interested in writing together, thanks

Johnny jumped out of the window as his pursuers burst through the door. He rolled off the rusted corregated tin roof and landed at the pristine tires of....Elsinore

Like many movie chase scenes, it should be a four-stroke, but make two-stroke sounds. Wink

Like James Bond this character should be on the cutting edge, think Keefer and niche.Personally I wouldn't put to effort describing the bike, put the time into the chase, besides everyone knows dirt bikers don't read Novels.
